Chloe Magee suffers defeat in first round of German Open

Chloe Magee lost in the opening round of the German Open women's singles after a straight sets defeat to Thailand's Nichaon Jindapon.
The Donegal player lost 21-12, 21-13 against the number five seed in Mulheim an der Ruhr on Wednesday.
Magee and her brother Sam lost a close battle in the doubles against Hong Kong pair Chun Hei Lee and Hoi Wah Chau.
The Magees edged the opening set 23-21 but then lost the next two sets 21-13, 21-9 in a match that lasted 44 minutes.
