England's Chris Langridge and Marcus Ellis beat Michael Fuchs and Johannes Schoettler to become men's doubles champions at the Italian International.
The unseeded pair won 21-11 21-19 against Germany's top seeds to claim their first tournament title.
"We are getting a good understanding of each other and starting to play as a pair which is key," said Langridge, 29.
He only teamed up with Ellis, 25, in September but the pair won the Rome tournament without dropping a game.
