Plymouth guard Drew Lasker rejoins Newcastle Eagles

Newcastle Eagles have re-signed guard Drew Lasker for the 2013-14 British Basketball League campaign.

The 30-year-old was unable to help the Eagles to play-off success during a two-month spell in 2011 - a first season in seven without silverware.

Lasker, who was at Plymouth Raiders last season, joins an Eagles side that finished runners up in three competitions during 2013.

"I'm excited to be returning to Newcastle," Lasker said.

"I have some unfinished business from 2011 and I'm really looking forward to joining what looks to be a very talented group of players for the coming year."

Eagles have also signed Notre Dame captain Scott Martin to their roster for the new campaign.
