Bisson has played at the last four Commonwealth Games for Jersey
Jersey bowler Karina Bisson leads her group at the world Champion of Champions event in Hong Kong.
Bisson beat Malaysia's Siti Zalina Ahmad 12-8 12-3 to record her sixth successive victory after losing her first tie.
Among Bisson's scalps has been English and Commonwealth Games champion Natalie Melmore and Canadian champion Clarice Fitzpatrick.
Bisson must make the top three in her group to qualify for the latter stages.
The top player from each of the two groups automatically makes it through to the semi-finals, with the next two runners up contesting play-offs to decide the second semi-finalists.
The tournament pits national title-winning players from around the world against each other.
Meanwhile Jersey's Tommy Greechan is in seventh spot in his group, winning four and losing three so far.
