The crowd show their appreciation at the start of the 12th. Both deserve it.

It could all come down to this.

Good combination from Taylor in the centre of the ring, he's responded well again.

The corners are so animated as the fighters try to use every last ounce of energy.

Bang, and another from Catterall. Good work.

Taylor looks for two finishers but the Chorley man dips and dodges and replies with counter punches.

And that's that. Both fighters raise their hands.

In that round the timing and accuracy from Catterall was superb.

He brought Taylor on to the punch, the advancing Josh Taylor walked straight onto it.

Taylor did well to get through the round.

Good work from Taylor early in the 11th. Man, this fight could be tight.

But Catterall lands the biggest punch of the fight! A beauty of a left.

Taylor is on the ropes and both fighters fall together.

No knockdown says the referee. Can Catterall capitalise? Not really. He stands off a bit and Taylor recovers.

Another raised fist from Josh Taylor there. That was another ferocious round, but they're both tired.

Catterall is a bad poker player though, he showed it.

Taylor's corner tells him: 'Don't leave it in the hands of the judges'.

    Round 11 incoming...

A quieter round. An even one too. A fair bit of holding as both fighters tire.

They pair of them have put so much into this.

Taylor lands a combination but doesn't follow up with much at the end of the round.

Before that round I thought Taylor had won the previous two. Catterall needed a better round and I think he got it.

He upped the intensity and that was much better. But every shot is taking it out of them and this could go right to the wire.

The crowd rises as Catterall threatens to unleash.

Then bang, a big shot to the body by Taylor. Can't imagine what one of them must feel like.

Taylor's endurance certainly looks better than Catterall's as the Scot lands a right.

Catterall ends strong again! Excellent stuff.

Jack Catterall can't land three shots any more.

Taylor's finding his form, he looks like the old Josh Taylor.

Still a tight round, still a hard round, they're both at the edges of their end - they're both close to exhaustion, but Taylor looks to have recovered more.

Up to this stage it's been all Catterall but his intensity slowed right down and Taylor seized the opportunity, he sensed Catterall was slowing down and he pounced.

'You're fit as a fiddle, you can do this all night long' is the message from Taylor's corner.

Big, big right from Taylor. He's much improved.

The pundits think Catterall is tiring and they may have a point, but he connects with a left.

Both land combinations in the centre of the ring.

Taylor continues to be patient, it's an approach that could work for him in the later rounds.

Catterall suddenly looked tired and uncomfortable there, and Taylor sensed it.

Catterall is as slippery as a bar of soap in the ring right now.

Better from Taylor, who starts the seventh with a right hook. It's measured stuff from the Scot.

But Catterall connects with a jab then a left.

Taylor then finishes strong. Probably his best end to a round.

Josh Taylor is now looking bashed up.

The markings under his eyes are looking worse.

Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall 2

Catterall starts the sixth the way he ended the fifth. This fight feels like it's there for him.

But Taylor regains composure and responds with jabs.

That doesn't stop Catterall connecting with more left hands.

Taylor's right eye is closing up.

Best round for Catterall by far, he went through the gears in that round.

He's testing Josh Taylor now and Taylor can't cope with the tempo change.

Where did that come from? Catterall lands with what feels like endless jabs at the start of the fifth.

Then a left-right combination from the Chorley man, excellent.

Taylor lands a couple of his own but it's surely a Catterall round, which ends with him landing on Taylor on the ropes.

Not the first time Catterall's ended like that, a big finish. He seemed to catch Josh Taylor, but I thought Taylor got his measurements right more there.

But when Catterall opens up those shots come in high and come in low.
