Sussex have signed bowler Steve Magoffin as their overseas player for the first half of the season.
The 32-year-old Australian, who has been playing for Queensland in his homeland, has had spells at Leicester, Surrey and Worcestershire.
He said: "I am delighted to be heading to Sussex for the beginning of the season. I have always enjoyed my time playing in the UK.
"It's an honour to be considered by them to be their overseas player."
Magoffin, who bowls right-arm fast-medium, has taken 247 first-class wickets at an average of 26.62.
Sussex captain Mike Yardy added: "His experience and skills will complement our improving bowling attack in both one-day and four-day cricket."
