County Championship Division Two, Bristol

Gloucestershire v Glamorgan

Gloucestershire and Glamorgan endured a frustrating washout on the opening day of their Championship fixture at Bristol.

A series of heavy showers prevented the players making it out to the middle.

And umpires Richard Illingworth and Ismail Dawood decided in mid-afternoon that no play would be possible.

Gloucestershire did find time, however, for club president David Allen to present county caps to Dan Housego, Paul Muchall and Benny Howell.
