Scotland will play Bangladesh in a Twenty20 international in the Netherlands this summer.

The match in Voorburg will take place on 24 July.

"We are delighted that this fixture against Bangladesh has been arranged," said Cricket Scotland chief executive Roddy Smith.

"We must grab every opportunity possible to play the full members and I am sure the Scotland team will give the Bangladesh side a severe test."

Bangladesh are making a short tour of Europe as part of their preparations for September's World T20 in Sri Lanka, and will also play Ireland and the Netherlands.

"The Bangladesh side will obviously try to put on a good show," said captain Mushfiqur Rahim.

"We have the world's best all-rounder in Shakib Al Hasan and some exciting names like Tamim Iqbal and Nasir Hossain.

"Our natural attacking style complements the Twenty20 format and I am sure cricket fans will be entertained.

"We are also very happy to play three associate countries during this European tour - they have shown great intent in developing their cricket."
