Kent and Glamorgan drew their County Championship Division Two clash on the final day at Canterbury.

Resuming on 264-7 in their first innings, Glamorgan avoided the follow-on and were bowled out for 389.

Darren Stevens ended with figures of 4-77, including the scalp of wicketkeeper Mark Wallace (111).

John Glover (2-16) took the wickets of Rob Key and Ben Harmison but Kent declared once Sam Northeast (101 not out) passed his century.

Kent, still unbeaten in the four-day game this season, kept their promotion bid alive after picking up eight bonus points.

They lie fourth in the table, five points behind second-placed Hampshire and 27 behind leaders Derbyshire, and have a game in hand.
