Nottinghamshire bowler Andre Adams signs contract extension

Former New Zealand international Andre Adams has signed a new one-year deal to keep him at Nottinghamshire until the end of the 2014 season.
The fast-medium bowler, 37, has taken 614 first-class wickets at 23.01, and averages 22.02 with the bat.
Director of cricket Mike Newell told the club's website:, external "Andre has been our best bowler for some time now.
"We will preserve him for four-day matches. Having a bowler of his quality fresh is a key part of how we play."
Adams, who played his only Test for New Zealand in 2002, against England, took 66 wickets in 2010 to help Nottinghamshire secure the County Championship.
