GH Smit wins Guernsey Cricketer of the Year award

GH Smit has been named Guernsey cricket's Player of the Year.

The international helped his club side Argyll Investment made the Guernsey Twenty20 final.

Smit played in all six of Guernsey's matches in February's World Cricket League Division Five tournament.

He scored the ninth-highest run scorer in the tournament with 149 and top-scored with 59 against Cayman Islands.
