Hampshire: Surrey friendly stopped by snow
- Published
Hampshire's pre-season match against Surrey on Thursday was abandoned for the day because of snow.
A week before the start of the county cricket season, players were forced to wear gloves and thermals rather than sun hats as temperatures plummeted at the Ageas Bowl.
Just a week ago Hampshire's players were competing in a pre-season tournament in Barbados.
Surrey managed 99-0 after 30 overs while Hants reached 14-1.
