Moeen Ali hit an unbeaten century as Worcestershire built a lead over Gloucestershire on a rain-affected second day at New Road.
Resuming on 65-0, skipper Daryl Mitchell fell to Liam Norwell for 63.
Moeen (122 not out) then combined with Matt Pardoe (89) in a stand of 173 for the second wicket.
James Fuller (1-59) bowled Pardoe before Thilan Samaraweera (5) was trapped lbw by Craig Miles to leave the hosts 302-3 at the close, a lead of 68.
