Ashes 2013-14: Mitchell Johnson dyes moustache pink for charity

Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has revealed a new-look pink moustache in aid of charity.

The 32-year-old left-armer has terrorised England batsmen with 34 wickets to propel Australia to the verge of a 5-0 Ashes series whitewash.

He grew the distinctive Mexican-style moustache before the series to promote the Movember men's health charity.

That has been dyed pink as part of the McGrath Foundation campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer.

This is the sixth year in which the annual Sydney Test match has featured the colour pink, to raise funds for the charity, founded by former Australia bowler Glenn McGrath and his late wife Jane, who died aged 42 in 2008.

Stumps for the Test match are pink and both the Australia and England players donned special pink caps for pre-match photographs.

The third day of the Test, starting at 23:30 GMT on Saturday, is designated "Pink Day" as spectators are urged to wear pink clothing and collections for the charity take place.
