Glamorgan 161-7 (20 ovs) beat Hampshire 151-6 (20 ovs) by 10 runs |
Will Owen took 3-32 as Glamorgan restricted Hampshire to 151-6 and secured a 10-run T20 Blast victory.
Earlier, the impressive left-arm spin of Danny Briggs (3-26) helped limit Glamorgan, led by Jacques Rudolph (34) and Mark Wallace (33), to 161-7.
In reply, the hosts could not get up with the run-rate and, only when James Vince fell for 38, did Sean Ervine (27) and Matt Coles (42) make a fist of it.
But after Owen bowled Ervine to make it 130-4, Hampshire limped to defeat.
Owen was ably supported by the frugal Jim Allenby, who did not take a wicket, but conceded just 19 runs from his four overs.
