Pakistan beat New Zealand by 248 runs in Abu Dhabi to take the first Test of their three-match series.
Resuming on 174-8, the Kiwis lost their last two wickets on the final morning to be bowled out for 231.
Leg-spinner Yasir Shah bowled Mark Craig (28) in the second over of the day before top-scorer Ish Sodhi (63) offered resistance until he was leg before to Imran Khan.
The second Test in Dubai starts on Monday.
