Grant Elliott celebrates his second ODI century with Luke Ronchi

Fifth one-day international, Dunedin:

New Zealand 360-5 (50 overs) beat Sri Lanka 252 (43.4 overs) by 108 runs

Luke Ronchi and Grant Elliott set a new one-day international world record sixth-wicket partnership of 267 to help New Zealand beat Sri Lanka in Dunedin.

The pair came together at 93-5 but took the total to 360-5 with Ronchi scoring 170 not out off 99 balls, his first ODI century, while Elliott finished on 104.

Tillakaratne Dilshan hit 116 but Sri Lanka lost the fifth ODI by 108 runs to trail 3-1 in the seven-match series.

Ronchi and Elliott beat MS Dhoni and Mahela Jayawardene's 218, set in 2007.

Indian Dhoni and Sri Lankan Jayawardene set the previous best playing for an Asia XI against an Africa XI.
