Minor Counties: Cornwall beat Herefordshire by 108 runs

Cornwall began their Minor Counties Championship season with a 108-run win over Herefordshire at Colwall.
Christian Purchase's 51-ball 126 on the second day had helped Cornwall to a 470-run lead, with the hosts needing 328 runs on the last day to win.
Despite Chris Whittock's 126 not out, the hosts were bowled out for 362 as Brad Wadlan took 4-77 to add to the four first innings wickets he took.
Purchase took 3-66 in addition to his three first innings wickets.
The win gave Cornwall 23 points and puts them one point off Western Division leaders Shropshire and Wiltshire, while Herefordshire are bottom with just four points.
