Glamorgan 'have turned corner' says Jacques Rudolph

Glamorgan now have three wins from five T20 Blast games in the South Group

Jacques Rudolph was delighted with Glamorgan's 19-run T20 Blast win at Gloucestershire on Friday, as well as his first century in T20 cricket.

Glamorgan have now won three games from five in the South Group and will seek to add another win against Somerset in Cardiff on Saturday.

"We can take a lot from this game, we have just turned the corner and have got a bit of momentum now," he said.

"Somerset are a great outfit - we're glad that Chris Gayle's not playing!"

Rudolph's unbeaten 101 came from 71 balls and the South African skipper's knock underpinned a healthy 191-3 for the visitors, who had been put into bat.

Gloucester skipper Michael Klinger replied with 104 not out off 63 but his team-mates could not match his efforts as Glamorgan kept things tight, with Michael Hogan's 2-24 the pick of their bowlers.

"It was quite a clinical performance with the bat. In the field it was very tough conditions. It was quite dark and the ball was sopping wet," Rudolph added.

"I think our batting unit has been pretty good this season, we had a good chat yesterday about how we want to conduct our innings and it's starting to work.

"It's a nice mental barrier that I have broken by scoring my first T20 hundred today."
