Somerset's Jamie Overton has joined twin brother Craig in the England squad for the final two matches of the one-day series against New Zealand.

All-rounder Craig, 21, replaced Chris Jordan in the squad for Sunday's match at Southampton, but did not play as the tourists won

Fast bowler Jamie comes in for Liam Plunkett, who has a thigh strain.

"I have not played much cricket this year, but obviously they have seen something in me," said Jamie.

Both Overtons have represented the England Under-19 and Lions sides but neither has played for the senior team.

If they both appear against the Black Caps, the Overtons would become the first twins to play for England's senior team in the same match.

"We've always had that bit of rivalry between us," added Jamie.

"One has always had that little step ahead and then the other has always caught up and gone ahead - that has helped us."

Jamie was in the squad for the home one-day series with Australia in 2013, which the tourists won 2-1, but did not feature.
