England's Gary Ballance found some form for Yorkshire with a half-century as his side beat Derbyshire by seven runs in a rain-affected One-Day Cup game.
Ballance, dropped for the third Ashes Test, scored 69 as the Tykes made 239-6 in an innings reduced to 42 overs.
Jack Leaning made 42, while pace bowler Mark Footitt picked up two wickets.
More rain saw Derbyshire set a revised 197 off 29 overs, but they could only reach 189-9 as Hamish Rutherford (56) fell in the penultimate over.
The wicket of New Zealander Rutherford, who skied Steven Patterson (3-37) to Glenn Maxwell, came two balls after Ballance had dropped Tom Poynton on the boundary and let it go through his hands for four.
With 16 needed off the final over, Jack Brooks (3-40) took two wickets in two balls, and restricted the hosts to just eight runs.
