Kent have signed New Zealand paceman Adam Milne and Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis for the 2018 T20 Blast.

Milne, 25, re-joins the Spitfires having taken 15 wickets at an average of 12.46 in the Blast last season.

Stoinis, 28, has played 20 white-ball matches for Australia and T20 cricket for Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab and Melbourne Stars.

Milne is available for the whole Blast, while Stoinis will play the last nine of Kent's 14 group-stage matches.

"Bowlers of Adam's pace and skill are rare and we believe he can be a match-winner for us in this format," said Kent director of cricket Paul Downton.

Right-arm fast bowler Milne has taken 62 wickets in 59 white-ball matches for New Zealand and was Kent's top wicket-taker in the 2017 competition.

Stoinis, a right-arm seamer and middle-order batsman, is a regular fixture in Australia's ODI and T20 sides and has scored 566 runs in 13 ODI innings at an average of 62.88.

"Marcus is a dynamic cricketer who will add depth to our batting and bowling in the T20 Blast," Downton added.

Kent begin their T20 Blast campaign against Surrey on 6 July, with Stoinis joining the side ahead of their match against Sussex on 27 July and staying until their final South Group game against Essex on 17 August.

The duo are the second and third signings for Kent in two days, following the arrival of Matt Henry for the first seven matches of the County Championship and the One-Day Cup.
