County Championship: Five matches abandoned without play on day one

Rain severely affected the County Championship on Friday, with five matches abandoned without any play.
The Division One games between Worcestershire and Nottinghamshire, Lancashire and Surrey and Somerset versus Yorkshire were all called off.
Only an hour's play was possible between Hampshire and Essex, with the hosts reaching 41-0 at the Ageas Bowl.
Division Two was also badly hit, with the fixtures at Northamptonshire and Leicestershire washed out.
Northants against Durham was called off before the scheduled 11:00 BST start, while the East Midlands derby between Leicestershire and Derbyshire was abandoned just before 12:30.
Play did get under way at Lord's, where Middlesex reached 64-3 against Glamorgan before the rain arrived shortly after lunch. Play was ended after just 16.1 overs following a further inspection at 16:40.
There was also action at Hove - Sussex racing to 86-0 against Gloucestershire when the weather closed in at the end of the morning session. The umpires eventually abandoned play at 16:10.
