Scotland's women marked their first one-day international with a fine 40-run victory over Ireland in Spain.
Captain Kathryn Bryce led the way with her highest international score of 78 as the Scots reached 211 all out in the 48th over.
Sarah Bryce made 42 as the sisters shared a second-wicket partnership of 65.
In reply, Ireland were bowled out for 171 in the 42nd over, with Hannah Rainey taking three wickets.
Abtaha Maqsood and Darcey Carter each picked up two wickets.
Having gained full ODI status last year, Scotland made the perfect start in this series at Desert Springs which includes three 50-over matches and two T20 contests over 10 days.
The early loss of Darcey Carter put the Bryce sisters together and they set about piling on the runs. The skipper then added 45 for the sixth wicket with Ellen Watson, who made a rapid 16.
Laura Delany, Georgina Dempsey and Arlene Kelly each took two wickets for Ireland, who started slowly in their chase.
Openers Leah Paul (43) and Gaby Lewis lasted 12 overs but only put on 38 before Paul and Orla Prendergast (37) took Ireland past 100.
Once Maqsood struck in consecutive deliveries to remove Paul and captain Delany, then Irish wickets tumbled regularly.
Arlene Kelly offered resistance with 25 from as many balls but her stumping from the bowling of Carter wrapped up a great day for Scotland.
