Great Witchingham Cricket Club have pulled off a major signing ahead of next summer's East Anglian Premier League season.
Australian opener Jake Weatherald, who once scored a hundred in the Big Bash Final for Adelaide Strikers, joins as their overseas professional.
"I fear for the drivers on the A1067, the road is in his range," said Jim Clarke from the club.
"I've seen what he's capable of and it's scary," he added.
The 29-year-old, from Darwin in Australia, plays all formats of the game and has represented South Australia in both first-class and one-day cricket.
He played for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League equivalent to the UK's T20 Blast.
This winter, Weatherald will play alongside Ashes winners Alex Carey and Travis Head, before flying in to Norfolk next spring.
Mr Clarke, the cricket club's development officer said: "I know the committee worked really hard on getting him over here, from the messages I've seen about him he seems like a great guy."
It is not the first time Weatherald has played in the UK, and he spent last season with Barnsley Woolley Miners.
He added: "I think he'll enjoy the weather much better down in Norfolk than he did in Yorkshire.
"He's got so much to offer the club and I think he'll be a massive asset to the league. A good overseas player will improve the rest of the squad by the way they train and the way they act, on and off the field."
