Alex Horton and Callum Nicholls have signed contract extensions with Glamorgan.

Wicketkeeper-batter Horton has extended his stay at Sophia Gardens by two years after impressing in white ball competitions in 2025.

The 21-year-old from Newbridge was a mainstay behind the stumps after securing his spot midway through the Vitality Blast campaign in June.

Batter Nicholls, also 21, has signed for an additional season, having been included in the final two One-Day Cup squads.

"It's great that two of our talented young players will be continuing their development with us," said Mark Wallace, Glamorgan director of cricket.

"Alex broke into the T20 team during last year's Blast and will have gained a lot from the experience, while Callum's first year as a rookie contracted player was topped off with a double century against Gloucestershire in the second team.

"We look forward to them both continuing their progress at the club in 2026."

Glamorgan start their final game of the 2025 season against Lancashire in the Championship at Sophia Gardens on Wednesday after sealing promotion from Division Two on Thursday.
