Warwickshire have signed seamer Adam Sylvester on a deal until the end of the season following a trial spell at Edgbaston.
The 25-year-old made one first-class appearance for Derbyshire in 2022 and has impressed during three T20 games for the Bears' second team this month, taking seven wickets.
Sylvester, who had a similar trial spell with Kent last season, said he "couldn't be happier" to have agreed a deal with the Bears.
"It's been a long, hard journey for me into professional cricket, so for Warwickshire to give me this chance is something I'm hugely grateful for," he said., external
"I've done OK in the seconds and shown what I can do with a few wickets. I want to continue putting in good performances for the Bears and stake a claim for the first XI."

Warwickshire high performance manager Paul Greetham said assessing Sylvester had been done over a period of matches and was not "a one-off trial".
"Adam has lively pace and bowls with character, he's a real competitor who likes to be in the battle," he said.
"There's a lot to like and I think he can do a good job for us in all formats."
