Somerset have signed New Zealander Brett Randell on a short-term overseas contract.
The 29-year-old seamer will be available for Somerset's final three County Championship Division fixtures.
"It’s been a dream of mine to play County Cricket since I was a boy, and it’s special to have the chance to play for such a great club," Randell said.
He has played 30 first-class matches and taken 86 wickets at an average of 25.15, with best figures of 6-45.
Randell earned a call up to the New Zealand A squad last year.
