Long-serving Somerset head coach Jason Kerr has signed an extension to his contract that will keep him in charge of the club through to the end of the 2026 season.
The 50-year-old has been part of the club's coaching set-up in various roles since 2005 and was appointed head coach before the 2018 season.
Kerr - who played for Somerset as an all-rounder between 1993 and 2001 - guided the club to Royal London One-Day Cup success in 2019 as well as the Vitality T20 Blast title last year when they beat Essex Eagles in the final at Edgbaston.
After signing his extension, Kerr told the club website:, external "I'm incredibly excited and privileged to be able to continue this journey.
"Success as a coach is measured on how far you can take a squad, and I'm fortunate that the ceiling for the current group is extremely high. The key is to be able to deliver on their aspirations.
"This place means so much to me. Not only is it my home, but I recognise and understand what this club means to so many people across the south west and further afield. It's a part of my DNA and always will be."
