After a month of action, the Women's World Cup has reached the final.

Co-hosts India will face South Africa - which means there will be a new name on the trophy as neither side have yet been one-day world champions.

Here's everything you need to know.

What happened in the semi-finals?

India pulled off the highest successful run chase in the history of women's one-day internationals to beat Australia and reach the final, with Jemimah Rodrigues posting a superb unbeaten 127 as they reached their target of 339.

South Africa thrashed England in their semi-final with captain Laura Wolvaardt scoring a remarkable 169 as her side posted 319-7 before bowling their opponents out for 194.

It means the teams who finished first and second in the competition's group stage are not in the final.

When is the Women's Cricket World Cup final?

The final takes place on Sunday, 2 November from 09:30 GMT.

It will take place at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.
