Ex-England coach Keightley to lead Superchargers

Former England coach Lisa Keightley has been appointed head coach of the Northern Superchargers women's team in The Hundred.
The Australian, 53, led England from January 2020 until she stood down at the end of the 2022 summer.
She replaces former England international Danielle Hazel, who leaves after four years in the role.
"The opportunity to be head coach of Northern Superchargers is a huge honour, and I'm excited to build on the solid foundations laid over the past four years," Keightley said.
"Our goal is to win the competition and with the core squad we're working to retain before deadline day, alongside the players we'll recruit through The Hundred draft, I'm confident we have the potential to achieve that."
The Superchargers narrowly missed out qualification for the eliminator this year, having been runners-up in 2023.
During Keightley's time in charge, England reached the semi-finals of the 2020 Women's T20 World Cup and the final of the 2022 Women's World Cup.
They were also heavily beaten in the 2022 Women's Ashes and failed to get a medal at the Commonwealth Games.
Since leaving England she has worked as the head coach of Sydney Thunder in the Women's Big Bash in Australia and as an assistant coach at Delhi Capitals in the Women's Premier League in India.
Keightley played nine Tests and 82 one-day internationals for Australia and was the first woman to score a century at Lord's.
