Gloucestershire have signed former England batter Dawid Malan for the 2026 and 2027 T20 Blast campaigns.
The 38-year-old left Yorkshire last week with a year still on his contract after six seasons with the county.
Malan retired from international cricket in August 2024, as one of only two men - along with Jos Buttler - to score a century in all three formats for England.
He was part of the squad that won the T20 World Cup in 2022 and played in 22 Test matches, 30 one-day and 62 T20 internationals.
Malan said Gloucestershire - who won the Blast in 2024 - were a club with "real ambition" to challenge for the title again next season.
"You only have to speak to [director of cricket] Jon Lewis and [head coach] Mark Alleyne to understand the scale of their ambition. They are putting together a strong squad, and I am eager to contribute," Malan said.
"I have worked with both of them in the England set-up - they are positive, professional people and it will be great to join them and the players, and to help Gloucestershire challenge for titles."

In 2020, Malan became the world number-one ranked T20 batter and reached 1,000 international runs in 24 innings - the fastest of any player.
At club level, he spent 13 years with Middlesex before joining Yorkshire, where he finished the 2023 and 2024 Blast campaigns as the competition's top run-scorer and captained their side last season.
He has also twice been part of The Hundred winning sides with Trent Rockets in 2022 and Oval Invincibles in 2024.
"I know Dawid well from my time with the England men's team and I'm confident he'll be a great fit for our dressing room. He's a good person, an excellent professional and someone who will be brilliant to have around the place," said Lewis.
"Bringing someone with that level of quality, experience and global pedigree into our Vitality Blast squad is a huge coup for Gloucestershire."
