Sussex have announced wicketkeeper Charlie Tear has signed a two-year contract extension at the club.
The 20-year-old played four matches this year during the Sharks' One-Day Cup campaign, top scoring with 43 against Yorkshire.
"The opportunity to continue working hard with the coaching staff and be a part of a squad that is doing really well is very exciting," Tear told Sussex's club website, external.
"We are delighted Charlie has committed the next two seasons to the club. He really has made great strides over the last twelve months," head coach Paul Farbrace added.
Tear was called up to represent Scotland at this year's ICC T20 World Cup and so far has 10 caps for his nation.
