We've got an extra five minutes folks - time for a winner?

Vladan Kovacevic to the rescue again for Norwich as he produces a smart stop to deny Bailey Cadamarteri.

A few of these Norwich players are going down with cramp but the Wednesday players still look relatively fresh.

(See earlier entry expecting Wednesday to struggle at this stage with such a small squad with the transfer embargo)

If Norwich don't win tonight, a highly likely result, and then sack Manning they will not solve the dire situation they are in. Manning was a successful manager with Bristol City. After his departure they are still in the top 10. Why hasn't he had success with his home city club? Because the rot in the club is higher up the food chain and until that is acknowledged and corrected, nothing will change.

  5. CLOSE!published at 21:34 GMT

    QPR 1-2 Southampton

QPR sub Karamoko Dembele is unplayable at the moment, driving in off the right flank, sending defenders one way and another and getting to the byeline before firing in a cross-shot from an acute angle which could have gone anywhere, but flashes across the face of goal.

Saints are wobbling here as they try to see out a first win in six games.

    Preston 2-1 Swansea

Four minutes have been added on at the end of this one.

  7. SUBSTITUTION & YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:33 GMT

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Substitution for Norwich and not a great sign for Jeffrey Schlupp.

He's clearly pulled a hamstring and handles the ball to stop a Sheffield Wednesday attack.

Schlupp receives treatment and his final contribution is to be cautioned for the handball - no sympathy from referee Ed Duckworth there.

Jakov Medic is on for the Canaries.

  8. CLOSE!published at 21:32 GMT

    Portsmouth 0-0 Wrexham

    Is that the chance?

Terry Devlin's brilliant reverse pass finds Conor Chaplin in the Red Dragons box. If he was in form he'd finish it without a second thought but he is not clinical and gets crowded out with the ball deflected behind for a corner.

  9. Postpublished at 21:31 GMT

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Bailey Cadamarteri drives into the Norwich box but is forced wide and his shot is easily saved by Vladan Kovacevic.

You can feel some tension from both sets of fans.

  10. CLOSE!published at 21:29 GMT

    Portsmouth 0-0 Wrexham

Pompey back on the attack but Conor Chaplin's fierce effort from just outside the box rises over Arthur Okonkwo's crossbar.

    Time to win this. OTBC

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:28 GMT

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Charlie McNeill replaces Svante Ingelsson for the home side.

Just under 10 minutes to go.

A win for either side would be so precious.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:27 GMT

    Preston 2-1 Swansea

Andrew Hughes is cautioned for Preston who could now be in for a nervy last few minutes.

  14. CLOSE!published at 21:26 GMT

    QPR 1-2 Southampton

    Inches away.

Sub Karamoko Dembele does brilliantly on the right of the Saints box and stretches to whip in a wicked low cross which somehow evades the sliding Rumarn Burrell at the far post.

Shades of Gascoigne's agonising miss from Shearer's volleyed cross against Germany in Euro 96 for those of a certain vintage.

  15. goal

GOAL Preston 2-1 Swanseapublished at 21:25 GMT

    Ji-Sung Eom (80 mins)

    Instant impact.

He's been on the pitch for four minutes but Ji-Sung Eom has given Swansea some hope.

The South Korean finds the net from outside the box.

  16. Postpublished at 21:24 GMT

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Oh so close for Sheffield Wednesday.

Norwich goalkeeper Vladan Kovacevic is well out of his area and gifts the ball to Svante Ingelsson but with the goal gaping from the halfway line the Swede shoots wide.

What a let off for Norwich.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:23 GMT

    Portsmouth 0-0 Wrexham

End-to-end stuff at Fratton Park and this is another huge save from Josef Bursik.

Josh Windass' quick free-kick is dummied by Liberato Cacace for Lewis O'Brien to race through on goal, but despite sitting the keeper down he can't lift the ball over him and Bursik blocks brillianly.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:22 GMT

    Preston 2-0 Swansea

Swansea are running out of time.

Eom Ji-Sung and Manuel Benson are on for Goncalo Franco and Liam Cullen.

  19. 'Both teams feel that they can go on and win this game'published at 21:22 GMT

    Darren Kenton
Former Norwich City defender on BBC Radio Norfolk

    This game's getting stretched.

    It really is end-to-end now.

Both teams feel that they can go on and win this game.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:21 GMT

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Norwich withdraw Jovon Makama and Amankwah Forson is on.
