Van Buuren commits to Gloucestershire until 2027

Graeme van Buuren is closing in on a decade at Bristol

South African all-rounder Graeme van Buuren has extended his contract at Gloucestershire by a further year.

The new deal means he will stay with the club until the end of 2027.

Since moving to the club nine years ago, the 35-year-old has scored 5,855 runs and taken 160 wickets and 76 catches.

"The last 10 seasons at the club have been nothing short of phenomenal for both myself and my family," van Buuren - who captained the side for three seasons until the start of this year - told the club website., external

"It's been an incredible journey filled with unforgettable moments, and I'm truly grateful for all the support over the years.

"I can't wait to keep going, giving my all on and off the pitch, and doing everything I can to keep putting smiles on faces."
