Ben Curran, the brother of England internationals Sam and Tom, has been named in Zimbabwe's squad for their one-day international series against Afghanistan.
The 28-year-old is the son of Kevin Curran, who played 11 ODIs for Zimbabwe between 1983 and 1987, before serving as their head coach between 2005 and 2007.
Curran, who played for Northamptonshire between 2018 and 2022, receives his maiden call-up after an impressive domestic season.
He is the leading run-scorer in Zimbabwe's 50-over competition and averages 64.50 this season.
The left-hander also tops the charts in their red-ball competition, averaging 74.14, while their T20 competition is yet to begin this season.
The three-match ODI series starts on 17 December, with the preceding T20s taking place between 11 and 14 December.
A two-Test series begins on 26 December, with a squad yet to be named.
Zimbabwe are due to face England in a one-off Test at Trent Bridge from 22 May 2025.
Curran's brothers Sam and Tom have both represented England in all three formats, playing 117 and 60 games respectively.
Sam is currently part of England's white-ball plans but Tom's last appearance was in 2021.
