James Bracey hit 186 as Group A leaders Gloucestershire secured a place in the One-Day Cup knock-out stages with a 52-run victory over Notts Outlaws.

It was the second highest List A score for the club - beaten only by his own 224 not out against Somerset in 2023 - and set them on the way to a total of 343-7.

On a day of heavy scoring, Yorkshire's Finlay Bean smashed a 53-ball century in their 354-7 against Durham at Scarborough, and they won convincingly by 212 runs to stay top of Group B.

Adam Thomas and Jamie Sykes made 162 and 115 in a stand of 265 as Surrey piled up 388-7 to beat Derbyshire by 43 runs, despite Matthew Montgomery's 114 in reply for the Falcons.

Glamorgan's Asa Tribe scored an unbeaten 122 but they are still winless after Rob Jones' 110 not out saw Worcestershire to a five-wicket victory, while Warwickshire defeated Lancashire at Aigburth.

Bracey helps maintain 100% record

Gloucestershire were looking to make it six wins out of six in their game against Notts and were given the perfect start as Bracey and Cameron Bancroft put on 121 for the first wicket.

Bracey went to 50 off 51 balls but had an escape on 58 when he was dropped by Ben Slater at long leg before Bancroft was out for 46, caught at mid-off.

Ollie Price (34) helped add 101 for the second wicket as Bracey brought up his 100 off 98 balls, who eventually departed in the 46th over, caught at third man playing a ramp shot off Lyndon James.

Notts soon lost Slater and Ben Martindale but Jack Haynes continued his glut of runs with 57 and Haseeb Hameed scored 80 off 88 balls before falling to the spin of birthday boy Graeme van Buuren.

They needed 113 from the final 10 overs and it proved too much for the lower order as they were bowled out for 291 in the 48th over.

At Derby, Surrey named Jamie Sykes as captain with Ben Foakes ruled out because of a leg injury and gave 17-year-old Ralphie Albert, grandson of snooker legend Jimmy White, his first-team debut.

Albert was not needed with the bat as Sykes and opener Adam Thomas, 19, came together at 57-2 and proceeded to add 265 - a third-wicket record stand for Surrey in List A cricket, beating 200 by Alec Stewart and Graham Thorpe in 1989.

Sykes, 20, went to his hundred off 79 balls and Thomas followed suit from the next delivery, his first hundred coming off 122 balls, with the pair hitting 12 sixes between them.

Thomas eventually holed out at deep mid-wicket and Sykes was caught behind, but Nathan Barnwell finished things off with an unbeaten 43 off 21 balls as Surrey made their third highest total in List A matches.

Caleb Jewell made a dashing start for Derbyshire with 77 before he was caught at square leg by Albert, who also got through a full allocation of 10 overs, but without taking a wicket.

Montgomery brought up a well-made century off 103 balls but was caught off Ari Karvelas as Derbyshire were all out for 345 in 49 overs, 44 runs short of victory.

At New Road, Tribe's 125-ball innings, plus 56 from Henry Hurle in a stand of 104 for the second wicket and backed up by Dan Douthwaite's 37 off 26 balls, took Glamorgan to a score of 297-7 against Worcestershire.

The visitors got rid of Brett D'Oliveira for a duck, but captain Jake Libby (77) added 182 for the fourth wicket with Jones, who brought up his 100 from 101 balls and hit the winning boundary back past bowler Andy Gorvin as they reached 298-5 with 10 balls to spare.

Worcestershire's fourth victory put them second in Group A, six points behind Gloucestershire.

Bean's seaside onslaught

Yorkshire went into their game at Scarborough ahead of Somerset and Middlesex on run rate only at the top of Group B but lost in-form Imam-ul-Haq for 22 in the ninth over, when he tried to pull a ball from Ben Raine and gloved to the keeper.

The innings was lifted by a stand of 88 between Will Luxton (46) and James Wharton, the latter then adding 101 in just 10 overs with Bean before he was yorked by Raine for 84.

Bean, though, continued to go for his shots and brought up his century with a single off Raine and was 102 not out from 57 balls when their innings came to an end.

Any hopes Durham had of chasing their target were eroded when Ben Coad quickly removed openers Alex Lees and Emilio Gay and they slumped to 48-6.

George Drissell made 46, but they were all out for 142 in the 36th over when Jack White had Cody Yusuf lbw to return figures of 3-24.

Warwickshire maintained their hopes of a top-three finish as they outplayed Lancashire - who have won only one game.

George Bell (46) and Kesh Fonseka (43) gave the Red Rose some early momentum, but although Marcus Harris (41) also made a useful contribution, no-one could produce the big innings needed to propel them to a sizable score.

Taz Ali took 3-39 as the home side were restricted to 249-9 despite 40 off 30 balls by Arav Shetty and, although paceman Jack Blatherwick (4-48) stood out, they did not have enough runs in the bank.

Zen Malik reached 50 off 39 balls with a six over mid-wicket off George Balderson before becoming Blatherwick's final victim on 72.

Hamza Shaikh weighed in with 75 before being bowled by Luke Hands as Warwickshire cruised to 253-5 with 10.1 overs to spare.
