Northamptonshire all-rounder Saif Zaib has agreed a new contact to remain with the club until the end of the 2027 season.
The 26-year-old still had 12 months remaining on his previous deal, but has now signed on for an additional two years after picking up Northamptonshire's batter of the season and One-Day Cup player of the year awards in 2024.
He scored scored more than 900 runs and claimed 29 wickets across all formats last season.
Since first featuring for Northamptonshire's senior side at the age of 15 in 2014, Zaib has racked up 4,237 runs and a total of 73 wickets in 160 appearances for the club.
"I feel like it's taken a while to establish myself," he said.
"The first few years being in and out of the team was tough and I feel like I didn't learn enough from those tough times.
"I'm more comfortable in myself as a person and as a cricketer which I feel like it's reflecting in my game as well."
