Sussex fast bowler Sean Hunt has signed a new deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027 season.

The 23-year-old left-arm seamer signed for the south-coast outfit in 2021, taking 3-47 on debut against Lancashire.

In April, Hunt produced stunning figures of 9-76, helping the club earn their first County Championship Division One victory since 2015 with an emphatic 260-run win over Somerset at Hove.

Since then he has been hampered with an arm injury which has kept him out of the side.

"I am absolutely delighted to sign an extension with the club," Hunt told the Sussex website., external

"I can't wait to get back out there and contribute to winning games of cricket for Sussex."
