No play was possible on day three of the County Championship matches at Durham, Yorkshire and Leicestershire.
Heavy rain left large areas of surface water on the outfield and a decision to call off Sunday's play between Leicestershire and Northants was made at about 10:00 BST.
Leicestershire ended day two on 97-2, 356 runs behind Northants.
At Headingley, it was decided that no play was possible at 12:45 BST.
Derbyshire were set to resume on 190-3 in reply to 450-5 declared by Yorkshire, for whom England duo Joe Root and Harry Brook scored first-innings centuries.
Division One leaders Essex, who are 314-3 in reply to Durham's 358 all out, were also frustrated by the bad weather and play was called off for the day following an inspection at 15:30 BST.
