Gloucestershire all-rounder Tom Price has signed for Sussex on a three-year contract and will join up with his new club at the end of the 2025 season.

The 25-year-old has taken 115 wickets and scored 1,417 runs in 60 appearances across all formats for Gloucestershire.

Price made his Gloucestershire debut in 2020 and has gone on to make 35 first-class appearances for the club, as well as playing in 16 List A and nine T20 matches.

He was part of Gloucestershire's T20 Blast-winning team in 2024 and has taken 19 wickets in County Championship Division Two so far this season.

"It's a very impressive club, with a lot of ambition, a squad that's going from strength to strength and a highly respected group of coaches and support staff," Price told the Sussex website., external

"It was always going to be a hard decision for me to leave my home club but I've had some very positive conversations and really believe this is a great fit.

"I'm really grateful the club are putting their faith in me for the next few years. I'm excited to continue developing my game and will give everything I can to help the club win games and trophies."

Sussex sit third in County Championship Division One so far this season after winning promotion back to the top flight last year.

Price becomes the second Gloucestershire player this summer to sign for Sussex after seamer Dom Goodman also agreed a three-year deal earlier in July.
