Rocky Flintoff will miss the remainder of Northern Superchargers' Hundred campaign and will be replaced by all-rounder Matthew Revis.

Flintoff, 17, the son of Superchargers coach and England legend Andrew, was signed in last month's wildcard draft but did not feature in the team's first three matches.

Superchargers said Flintoff has an injury, but no further details were provided.

He became Lancashire's youngest first-class cricketer last season and has played five first-class matches and eight List A games.

He scored a century for England Lions, coached by his father, against a Cricket Australia XI in Brisbane in January and became the youngest player to hit a century for England Under-19s last summer.

He also struck 107 against India Under-19s in July but has not played for Lancashire since last September.

Revis scored three consecutive centuries for Yorkshire in the County Championship this season - against Essex, Surrey and Sussex - to become the county's first uncapped player since 1945 to achieve the feat.

The 23-year-old also hit two half-centuries in the One-Day Cup this month.
