Potentially a match-winning innings from Markram. The sweetest moment of his life, Lord's rises for him. He's played so well.

SA 210-2
Aiden Markram gets his century!
He brings up the milestone in style with a four and Lord's erupts. A cuddle from Temba Bavuma, a mop of the brow, a few more minutes to survive tonight.

What would be ideal is for Aiden Markram to get those triple figures tonight so he doesn't have to sleep on it.
For Australia, they just want to concede the least amount of runs.

Listening along from Sardinia on my honeymoon. Nothing beats test cricket. Especially when it's got the the combination on batting and bowling skill on show in this test. It's especially great when Australia are going to lose.

The camera pans to Beau Webster in the field, hands on his head, a blank stare.
Temba Bavuma takes two off the final ball of the over.

Gutted to be missing some first class Aussie bashing (and test cricket) as I'm at the dentist who are running nearly two hours behind. It's not even me getting the treatment. I'm there for moral support for my partner who hates the dentist. She's 35!

A pause in proceedings for a discussion about the ball. It's not fitting through the ring. The suitcase of spares has been brought out for a perusal.

Sneaky feeling Cummins will bag two or three late wickets and then all to play for tomorrow….

Three singles and three dots off Josh Hazlewood.
Aiden Markram creeps one closer to his century.
The opener is up to 98.
Need 81 runs
200 up for South Africa. Roars and applause around Lord's.
Nathan Lyon is continuing to get the ball to turn but South Africa's third-wicket partnership is going strong.
It's worth 131.

That was a lovely piece of batting because Josh Hazlewood was on target throughout the whole over. He just overpitched a fraction and Aiden Markram was on it with a beautifully timed drive. Not too much on it but just enough to reach the boundary.
What an innings this has been from Aiden Markram.
Need 84 runs
Aiden Markram strikes the ball down the ground. It goes underneath Josh Hazlewood's hand, sends the umpire skittling out of the way, and races away for four. The fielder doesn't even bother to chase across.
Markram moves to 97 (148).

That was a fine shot from Temba Bevuma, the ball was spinning but he got a nice hit off.
Need 88 runs
Absolutely lovely batting from Temba Bavuma. He sweeps a ball from Travis Head around the fielder at short leg and away for four. That might be my favourite shot of South Africa's innings.
I've been informed that there's been 100 runs without a wicket in this session. Suddenly I don't feel so smug about all of my wicket gloating towards Ffion yesterday...

South Africa have been able to rotate the strike very consistently here today and that's why they are in the position that they are now.
Target 282
We're into what's likely to be the final 30 minutes of day three.
South Africa need 93 runs to win.
Travis Head is back for a second over.
Here is Josh Hazlewood. He's getting instructions from Pat Cummins and, curiously, Usman Khawaja.
Fun fact - Khawaja has one first-class wicket and has bowled 18 balls in Test cricket.

That's some great running from a hamstrung Temba Bevuma.
Need 94 runs
Pat Cummins has a smile on his face as Aiden Markram gets in a tangle against Travis Head's first delivery. Luck isn't on Australia's side.
Markram later takes a single and Temba Bavuma runs two.
