Northern Superchargers' Harry Brook, speaking to Sky Sports: “It was an awesome game.

“I still felt like we had a chance, he [Graham Clark] has been batting so well and Rash’s [Adil Rashid] experience.

“But that is why Jof [Jofra Archer] is the main man. Unfortunately for them, we managed to get over the line.”

“Awesome start from Duffy getting those three wickets. We wanted to try take powerplay wickets and he delivered in his first game in the Hundred.”

“This team have made it a fortress, they have been hard to beat in the last few years. To get the points away from home is awesome."

On Ben Stokes' Superchargers' mentor role: “Few conversations here and there, but he is chilling and he is trying to get himself back fit to play cricket again.”

Northern Superchargers' match hero Graham Clark on how that six felt: "That felt euphoric. I thought I messed it up when I left the ball before wide, but a good feeling to get over the line."

On playing higher up the order: "It's something I’ve never done before. I've spent the last few days practicing powerhitting. We knew if we played strong shots, we'd have a chance at this ground."

Jofra Archer is built for these occasions. This is why you pay him the big bucks!

Well, I have seen it all! 11 off 10 needed and to only score one run and lose two wickets.

Manchester Originals have been the better team from start to finish. Mahika Gaur set the tone in that first powerplay.

Welsh Fire could never get going with the bat. They were always going to be up against it in the field and they did build some pressure in the middle period.

But that partnership from Kathryn Bryce and Seren Smale was too good for the Fire.
