It has been a tough day for Welsh Fire. Their women were eliminated earlier and now their men are facing the same fate after another defeat.

That win edges Southern Brave up to third in the table - the second eliminator spot.
Northern Superchargers will retake it later if they beat London Spirit in a match that starts in 30 minutes.
Welsh Fire are bottom with one win. They're not mathematically out but they're as good as gone.

It was Hilton Cartwright's innings that gave the Southern Brave something to bowl at. Welsh Fire got off to a brilliant start.
