  1. 'We feel confident for our innings'

    Trent Rockets bowler Kirstie Gordon speaking on Sky Sports: "The pitch looks good. We bowled well on it from both seam and spin. A fantastic start from our seamers up top which set the tone. We feel confident going into this innings."

    On their batters: "They will want to go out and play with some freedom. The Oval Invincibles have a good bowling attack so we need to be smart."

    On her bowling: "I like to try and go up and over the ball to generate dip and turn. But against good batters I had to go more into the pitch which I tried to do."

    Oval Invincibles will need to beat that today to keep their hopes of an Eliminator berth alive.

  5. It didn't look the easiest pitch for batting, with Invincibles' openers struggling to get things going and they trudged to 13-1 at the end of the 25-ball powerplay.

    Meg Lanning caught up nicely as she made 45 from 35 balls, but they lacked contributions from elsewhere as Paige Scholfield's 16 was the next highest score.

    Ash Gardner changed the course of the game with her double-strike after 70 balls, removing Lanning and Marizanne Kapp.
