  1. Brave 9-0published at 95 balls left

    Target 126

A boundary apiece for the openers!

London Spirit are under pressure already as Danni Wyatt-Hodge sweeps for four more. The experiment of Tyson with the new ball hasn't quite gone to plan, so skipper Charlie Dean turns to the pace of Issy Wong for a breakthrough.

You get the feeling that the score is a little bit shy. They just fell away at the end and the Brave look like they know what they're doing and are on a roll.

It'll be hard for the Spirit to restrict them.

  3. Brave 4-0published at 98 balls left

    Target 126

Spin to start the innings from Bex Tyson, and her second ball is far too short with Maia Bouchier guiding it through the off side for four.

A positive start from Southern Brave.

Southern Brave have been the most successful chasing side in the history of the Hundred, with 16 successful chases out of 21. However, they have won four and lost four when it comes to chasing targets above 125. This is also their highest target this season. Might not be a straightforward chase here.

  5. Superchargers set 199 for Invincibles to chasepublished at 100 balls

Men's competition: Northern Superchargers 198-4 against Oval Invincibles

Northern Superchargers finish with a very healthy 198-4 after 100 balls - almost everyone contributed with the bat for them today.

David Miller had not looked very convincing at the start but he sends Tom Curran for three consecutive sixes in the final set and finish with an unbeaten 37 from 16 balls.

If they do chase down that target today, Oval Invincibles can guarantee a place in at least the Eliminator.

    Thanks, Mike.

This will be Southern Brave's highest chase this season, if they are to maintain their winning run.

They've got a powerful top four including openers Maia Bouchier and Danni Wyatt-Hodge - who was on the player mic on BBC iPlayer earlier and spoke about her recall to England's ODI squad for the upcoming World Cup.

Southern Brave will chase 126 - they started strongly, floundered somewhat as Griffith and Knott put on 67 for the fourth wicket, then fought back with a run of five Spirit wickets for 22 runs to close the innings.

You'd fancy the table-topping Brave with their excellent top-order - here's Ffion Wynne to seal if they can seal a seventh victory.

  8. Brook departs after brilliant half-centurypublished at 92 balls

Men's competition: Northern Superchargers 171-4 against Oval Invincibles

Sam Curran has not had much luck with the ball today but he finally gets a wicket for Oval Invincibles, bringing to an end Harry Brook's quickfire knock.

The Northern Superchargers skipper walks back with a 27-ball 56 after thrilling the Headingley crowd with five sixes and three fours.

Fantastic form from the Brave after being rock bottom last year and they have a young core. They stayed calm when the opposition was on top but a couple of wickets and they squeezed. They are going places this year and you can see why.

The Brave finished nicely there and they didn't panic. They bowled it into some good areas and we said they'd be happy with anything under 130 and have done that.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 100 balls

    Glenn c Adams b Villiers 3 (Spirit 125-8)

A third wicket for Mady Villiers to end the innings.

Sarah Glenn mistimes a shot through the covers and sends the ball flying to Georgia Adams at extra.

She finishes with 3-38, having also dismissed Australians Georgia Redmayne and Grace Harris in the space of four balls.

  12. Spirit 124-7published at 98 balls

Well, not much Maia Bouchier can do about that.

Charlie Dean strikes down the ground and the Brave fielder on the long-on ropes goes to collection the ball behind the umpire.

But the ball hits non-striker Sarah Glenn's bat and skews to cross the ropes at mid-wicket.

  13. Brook's fifty helps Superchargers consolidatepublished at 87 balls

Men's competition: Northern Superchargers 160-3 against Oval Invincibles

It's a brilliant captain's innings from Harry Brook as he brings up his half-century from just 24 deliveries.

Northern Superchargers are closing in on a formidable total with 13 balls still left of this innings.

Oval Invincibles have plenty of thinking to do at Headingley.

  14. Spirit 119-7published at 95 balls

A tight final set from Lauren Bell, with two singles book-ending a run of three dot balls to Sarah Glenn.

She finishes with figures of 1-17.

That was the third direct hit run out by Southern Brave this season, and the sixth run out executed by them - both the highest for any team.

  16. Spirit 116-7published at 90 balls

Spirit captain Charlie Dean comes in at the non-striker's end.

Sarah Glenn knocks the final ball of the set to mid-off and doesn't get a run, so Dean will be on strike as we change ends and welcome back Lauren Bell.

She is making up for her mistake after the dropped catch and the pace was incredible on the throw with Danielle Gibson not close.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 89 balls

Gibson run out (Bouchier) 9 (Spirit 116-7)

Maia Bouchier in the action again!

New batter Sarah Glenn strikes out to long-on, runs one and heads back for another.

Maia Bouchier fires in a throw and shouts for bowler Chloe Tryon to get out of the way - rightly so, the ball strikes the stumps and Dani Gibson is given out on the field.

All falling apart for Spirit - they've lost 4-13.

Fascinating speaking to Danni Wyatt-Hodge there but you could see that she switched on and concentrated on the ball as soon as the bowler was ready. It is one of the hardest things to do.

A good time to get wickets for the Brave and it's a good catch by Maia Bouchier.
