Tobyn Horton strong in Smithfield Nocturne race

Horton was previously signed for Team Sprocket

Guernsey's Tobyn Horton put in a strong performance to record an eighth placed finish in the Smithfield Nocturne race in London.

The Sarnian, who was racing for Team Motorpoint, managed to finish in the second of the two leading groups.

The race was won by Team Sky rider and Commonwealth Games silver medallist, Alex Dowsett.

Rapha Condor Sharp rider James McCallum finished in second, while Jack Bauer from Endura racing was third.
