Laura Trott beats Dani King to gold at British Championships

Laura Trott beat fellow Olympic gold medallist Dani King to individual pursuit gold at the British Championships in Manchester.
Trott clocked three minutes 34.973 seconds, ahead of Wiggle Honda team-mate King on 3.42.355 and Edinburgh's Katie Archibald on 3.42.008.

"This morning I thought I'd go faster than I actually did, but this afternoon I actually beat my time."
Ed Clancy followed up Wednesday's pursuit gold with another in the points race ahead of Sam Harrison and George Atkins, as well as silver in the kilo time trial behind Kian Emadi.
"I really died off with the last seven laps to go," Clancy said of his points win.
"It was just me and George out the back and we were just fighting to try and get the lap. George kept looking back at me to see if I could come through but he just kept digging and we got the lap. It was quite fun really."
Sophie Thornhill and pilot Helen Scott won the para-cycling 200m flying start time trial in 11.278 seconds, and Crystal Lane took C1-5 gold in 12.753.
