Tour winner Geraint Thomas - a career in pictures

From the Tour de France to Olympic medals and World Championships, Geraint Thomas has won many of cycling's biggest prizes during a glittering 19-year career.

As he begins his final race as a professional – the Tour of Britain, which finishes in Cardiff on Sunday, 7 September – here is a look back at some of the 39-year-old Welshman's career in pictures.
